How to Install Tidio Live Chat Widget in your Opencart Application

Step 1

Download the"Tidio Chat extension"from the Opencart Marketplace

As of now, there are 2 version of Module.

Download Extension based on your Opencart Version

Once downloaded, go to your Opencart administrative dashboard. From the left navigational panel, click "Extension" and then "Installer"

In the Installer page, upload the downloaded extension and make sure it has a filename ending with ".ocmod.zip"

After Installation, from the left navigational panel, click "Extensions" and then again "Extensions"

Choose the extension type as "Module" in Opencart version 3 and "Other" in version 4

From the list, find the "Tidio Chat" Widget

First, you have to click the "Install" button

Once installation is done, click the "Edit" button

If you don't have Tidio Chat Script code, click on the "Sign up for Tidio Chat" link on the Edit Page

It will take you to the Tidio website, where you can fill out the basic signup form and get your script code

Tidio's live chat widget has a free plan, but you can upgrade if your requirements are higher

On the Edit Page,
Just select Status as Enabled,
Enter your script code or copy and paste it from the Tidio Dashboard,
then click the Save button.

Once saved, visit Store Front Side Webpages, and you will notice Tidio Live Chat Widget on your Website
